This course provides an opportunity for growth and learning those who educate adults. If you are new to your instructor role, use this opportunity to learn from more experienced peers. If you are a seasoned instructor, continue to strive for excellence for yourself, learn new tools and make yourself available to mentor new instructors.
The goal of this course is to improve the quality of education for our long-term care community thus improved care for the populations they serve.
Learning objectives include:
• Understand adult education theory
• Improve your ability to serve as a facilitator of learning
• Recognize and appreciate diversity among adult learners.
Cost of class is $85 (includes $30 non-refundable cancellation fee).
Course is 4 hours long and is mandatory to become a DSHS Community Instructor.
